Arrival: You may bring your pet for boarding during business hours. Last check-in time is 30 minutes before closing. This allows our team to properly introduce and care for your pet before closing. Please expect paperwork and care instructions to take 5-10 minutes upon arrival.
Pick-Up: You may pick-up your pet from boarding during business hours, Monday through Saturday. Pets can NOT be dismissed from boarding during non-business hours. If you are unable to pick up your pet on their original pick-up day, please give us a call to let us know that your pet will be staying an extra night. Any pet not picked up before closing will be cared for the additional night at owner’s expense.
Food: We recommend bringing your pet’s normal diet, as a sudden change in diet can cause lack of appetite or GI upset. If food is not provided from home, a gentle GI dry diet will be fed to your pet during their stay.
Blankets/toys/bowls/etc: We will provide your pet all they will need to have a comfortable and safe visit. This includes bowls, blankets, leashes, etc. If you would like your pet to have their own blanket/toy during their stay, please clearly label it and let our staff know when your pet arrives. Collar and leashes will be taken off pet at time arrival and returned to owner. Collars and leashes are not stored at LWAH. LWAH is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Medications: We will administer medications to pets that are under current treatment by LWAH. There will be a medication fee of $3 per night. If your pet is diabetic, there will be a $5 charge per insulin injection. Please bring your pet’s medication to be administered during their stay.
Your pet will be cared for by our trained pet care specialists. All pets are cleaned and fed multiple times a day, including on weekends. Dogs are let outside and/or walked multiple times a day. Your pet’s comfort and health is our top priority and we look forward to their stay with us!
