Mary Ubatuba, DVM
Dr. Ubatuba attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate, earning her degree in 2001. She then attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM degree with honors in 2005. After graduation from vet school, Dr. Ubatuba completed a one year small animal rotating internship at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Ubatuba has a special interest in dentistry. Outside of work, she enjoys singing in the Tower Chorale, a 90-voice community chorus in Chicago's western suburbs, playing the piano (she was a double major in chemistry and piano performance in undergrad), embroidery and sewing. She also loves to spend time with her husband, who is a junior high school science teacher, their new baby daughter Rose born in November 2015, and their many wonderful pets: Barney, a 14-year-old mixed breed dog; Molly, a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever mix; and two cats — Lily and Black Cat.
David Laubert, DVM
Dr. David Laubert grew up in Kent, Ohio and currently resides in Tinley Park, Illinois. He received an undergraduate degree in International Business from Florida Atlantic University, a Master’s degree in Spanish from Kent State University, and earned a DVM degree from the University of Illinois. Dr. Laubert is fluent in Spanish and also speaks Portuguese.
In his spare time, Dr. Laubert enjoys tennis and gardening. He also shares his home with two dogs, a Great Pyrenees named, Zeke and a lab/pit bull mix named, Maggie Mae.
